Earlier in the year we were in Copley creating the TWO WAYS Series and heard lone voices coming from community seeking help to formulate and give their voice a platform.
On returning with a team made up of Lavene McKenzie and Denis Smith we spent four days creating four films and a set of portraits within the community. On the third day a huge dust storm came through following by sidewards rain. It seemed fitting.
After years and years of ripping up the muda mining for coal the companies turned their attention to underground coal seam gas fracking. A practice banned in Queensland after the death of mine workers whilst extracting this gas.
